Social Contribution Through Sports
SDGs Promotion Initiatives at the Kawasaki Brave Thunders
In September 2020, the Kawasaki Brave Thunders concluded an agreement with Kawasaki City to promote the SDGs and launched the "&ONE" project, which aims to make Kawasaki a "happier place to live" by providing opportunities for everyone to be
healthy and fulfilled through basketball and home games.
In addition to the SDGs, since the 2020-21 season we have been holding "&ONE days" at our home venue, Kawasaki Todoroki Arena, with the aim to pursue all 17 SDGs goals. We have also been proactively working with supporting partner
companies to expand awareness of the SDGs and provide opportunities for people to learn about the SDGs.

Yokohama DeNA BayStars Activities to Contribute to the Community
As a professional baseball team in Kanagawa Prefecture, the Yokohama DeNA BayStars proactively engage in activities to contribute to the community with the aim to contribute to the future for children in the region and the future of baseball.
Through activities such as invitations to watch games on Kanagawa Children's Day, visits to kindergartens, nursery schools, and elementary schools, and holding hands-on baseball classes, we provide opportunities for children to interact with
and experience baseball.
From FY2017, we will continue to contribute to the improvement of children's athletic ability and a brighter future through baseball by increasing the number of visiting classes and increasing contact with children, especially those in the
early grades of elementary school.
Running Classes for the Community & Elementary Schools
As part of our community contribution activities, we conduct visiting classes and running classes at local elementary schools, as well as activities to convey the joy of running and physical exercise at local sporting events.
Coaches from school organizations that aim to improve overall athletic performance visit each school to teach children the key to running, which is the foundation of all sports.

Comprehensive Partnership Agreement with the City of Yokohama
In March 2017, DeNA, the Yokohama DeNA BayStars, and Yokohama Stadium signed a comprehensive partnership agreement (commonly known as the I☆(Love)YOKOHAMA Agreement) with the City of Yokohama to promote sports and energize the local economy.
Under this agreement, the companies will participate in machizukuri projects centered on the promotion of spectator-oriented sports events and participatory sports, utilizing the assets of DeNA's sports business,
with the aim of creating a new flow of people and energizing the local economy. In addition, the partnership aims to create new industries, improve services for residents, and solve regional and administrative issues, not limited to sports, by
utilizing the knowledge and technology of the DeNA Group to energize the local economy.
Under this agreement, titled baseball future action, we are strengthening BT-ball* classes and tournaments in which kindergarten and nursery school children can participate, as well as baseball classes held at kindergartens, nursery schools,
and elementary schools. Recently there has been a decline in the number of children playing baseball and in children’s athletic abilities. With this initiative, we aim to contribute to the mid to long term development of baseball, and are
acting under the auspices of the City of Yokohama.
*BT-ball is a new sport that takes tee-ball, where players hit a ball set on a batting tee, and adapts it to fit Yokohama DeNA BayStars rules.
Three-Party Basic Partnership Agreement with Yokosuka City and Keikyu Corporation
In November 2018, Yokohama DeNA BayStars signed a basic agreement with Yokosuka City and Keikyu Corporation for the purpose of mutually promoting close cooperation and machizukuri with sports at the core. In the summer of 2019, in Oppama Park, where Yokosuka Stadium is located, Yokohama DeNA BayStars' DOCK OF BAYSTARS YOKOSUKA" was completed as a farm facility (players' dormitory and indoor/outdoor practice field) and began operation as a major base for player development. The three parties will continue to work together to create even more vibrancy in Yokosuka.
Cooperation with the Japan AED Foundation
The Japan AED Foundation works to ensure a healthy, safe, and secure everyday life for all in a world where saving a life from sudden cardiac arrest is commonplace through efforts related to the promotion, awareness, education, and training of
AEDs.
DeNA agrees with this goal, and as a member company, supports the various promotion and awareness activities of the Japan AED Foundation, and engages in promotion, awareness-raising, education, and training regarding AEDs in the sports
business, as well as endeavoring to raise awareness and provide education for all employees.
