DeNA Group Environment Policy

DeNA Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "DeNA") and all our subsidiaries (collectively with DeNA, the "DeNA Group") have "we delight people beyond their wildest dreams" as our mission, and we collaborate appropriately with diverse stakeholders to deliver Delight to a variety of spaces and contribute to creating a world where all people can shine.
In the DeNA Promise under value, the DeNA Group promotes sustainable corporate activities. In the DeNA Group Code of Conduct we state how, in order to contribute to building sustainable societies, the DeNA Group will endeavor to decrease the burden on the environment in every aspect of our business activities and engage in environmental conservation activities.
The DeNA Group has established the DeNA Group Environment Policy (hereinafter referred to as the "Policy") as a guideline for promoting initiatives to address climate change and conserve the global environment as a Group on the basis of the above. This Policy applies to all officers and employees of the DeNA Group.
We sincerely appreciate the understanding and cooperation of our customers, business partners, suppliers, and other stakeholders with the intent and content of this Policy so that the DeNA Group can promote our initiatives to address climate change and conserve the global environment through our business activities.
1. Addressing Climate Change
The DeNA Group recognizes that climate change is one of the most important global environmental issues, and we will endeavor to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by improving energy efficiency and utilizing renewable energy sources in order to help mitigate its effects.
2. Conservation of Resources
The DeNA Group will strive to make sustainable use of the Earth's limited resources. We will promote the conservation of water resources and biodiversity, and work to continuously improve resource efficiency by reducing waste and promoting recycling.
3. Prevention of Pollution
The DeNA Group will promote the preservation of the surrounding environment in which we operate and strive to prevent air pollution, chemical contamination, and other pollution.
4. Collaboration with Stakeholders
The DeNA Group will endeavor to work together with customers, business partners, suppliers, the local community, and other stakeholders to conserve the global environment.
5. Compliance with Laws & Regulations, etc.
The DeNA Group will comply with the laws and regulations of Japan concerning environmental conservation. In addition, the DeNA Group will cooperate with the international community in addressing climate change.
6. Education & Training
The DeNA Group will regularly provide our officers and employees with the education and training necessary to put this Policy into practice.
7. Promotion Structure
The DeNA Board of Directors oversees the DeNA Group's response policies and measures, etc., on the basis of the basic approach to sustainability initiatives and an awareness of the risks and opportunities related to climate change and the environment.
The DeNA Management Meeting shall deliberate on and determine the basic policies and measures, etc. for climate change and the environment for the DeNA Group, and shall report regularly on the progress of these measures and other matters to the DeNA Board of Directors.
The basic policies and measures determined by the Management Meeting shall be compiled by the department in charge of sustainability, centered on the CEO, who is the director responsible for sustainability, and shall be led by each individual department.
